Where to shoot wedding photos on Bribie Island.

Hi again guys, it’s Mark from Creative Elegance. Living on Bribie Island for over 25 yrs has allowed me to come to know some pretty special and amazing spots for have your Formal Photos of your wedding taken. So with that, below are a few different spots, in and around Bribie Island for your photos.

Woorim Surf Beach — Woorim has a magnificent coast line with miles and miles of sandy beaches. The whole way along the Surf Beach on Bribie there is access by normal car. If you wanted to get adventurous you could go up to the tip of Bribie, looking over at Caloundra. I myself go to the Lookout on Boyd St, Great location, easy access, plenty of parking and not too busy.

Bongaree Jetty — The Jetty at Bongaree, the calm side of Bribie, overlooks the Bribie Passage (Pumistone Passage) on any given day you might see Dolphins, Dugongs, Sail Boats, Speed Boats, Jet Ski’s Charter Boats. This location is the most popular for all the Tourists with plenty of great restaurants and cafes. The Jetty itself has 2 pontoons where people fish every day. The backdrop of the Jetty is Redcliffe in the distance or the Bribie Bridge and Sandstone Point. It has been used extremely often when shooting on Bribie over the years.
Pirate Park — Along the Calm side on the Island (Sharp left over the Bridge) about 3km down is a park called Pirate Park. There is a park that has play equipment in the shape of a Pirate Ship (hence the name… lol) next to the park is a large grassy area that has a backdrop of the Glasshouse Mountains. Fantastic looking sunset shots have been taken here, and on clear days the Mountains look spectacular.
White Patch — White Patch is a suburb of Bribie Island. As you come over the Bridge towards the 2nd roundabout head Left and you will come to it. It has an coast line of approx 1km with easy access by car. it has a dark and gloomy feel but once on the sand the backdrop of the Glasshouse Mountains is unbelievable. They are right there!!! The sand is a dark color and with the lush greens in the trees and the Blues in the water with the mountains in the background, well… a photographer couldn’t ask for more!!!
Well I have listed a few different locations that I have shot around Bribie Island, go and check them out!!!
