Real or Fake Wedding Flowers?

Hey it’s Mark Brittain for Creative Elegance here back with another topic for your wedding. Should you have Real of Fake Wedding Flowers??

Ok so you’re planning your Dream Wedding. You have picked and set the date. You have booked the Venue and Photographer (pick Mark from Creative Elegance!!!) and now you’re looking into Florists for your wedding Bouquet. Problem is the date you have set your wedding; your favourite Flower isn’t in season. What do you do??

This is a very real dilemma for the flower enthusiasts getting married. Most brides know what flower/s they want in their bouquet, finding out you can’t have it because of the season could be devastating. So do you try to import your favourite flower from overseas? Do you change to another flower that is in season? Or do you go to a fake version of your fav flower??

Import – So you have decided to import your flowers form overseas, the florist have made them and sent them. They could arrive with no drama, wonderful. What if they were inspected at Customs and there were bugs in it? They would be destroyed on the spot. This might sound “out there” but I have heard of it and seen it happen!!

Fake Flower – So another idea to overcome the “Out of Season” flower for your wedding is to get a Fake bunch made. I have seen many of these and some you can’t tell the difference between the real thing unless you touch it and hold it. They are obviously going to last longer than their real counterpart and that is a plus.

Ok so there you have it, just a quick chat about Wedding flowers and some different things to look out for!!!
